This could be a rumor, but a colleague sent me an email stating that Targets in Australia are now selling padded bras for 6-year-olds, and that the company who makes them is the Bratz doll company. I will check up on this but if you have any more information about this, please comment!!! Okay (15 minutes later). I can not believe marketers are targeting 6 year olds with padded bras. It makes me ill. It is so insane. And the comment from the Funtastic "spokesperson" stating that these bras are actually to hide and help young girls be "discreet" about the changes in their bodies!!! First off i do not know many girls that have noticable breast changes at 6 and second this product just creates more shame. Shame that the body is changing and evolving into a young womans body. Rather than celebrate young girls are made to hide these changes??And I am really curious how a padded bra will not enhace the appearances of breast size? i mean isn't that why adult women buy them, too enhance and enlarge their breat appearance. This is weird!!
